RisingHF's LoRa-based Smart Building Suite Makes a Splash at Tencent Global Digital Eco Conference

At this conference, Tencent, which successfully joined the LoRa Alliance Board of Directors earlier this month, officially launched the IoT developer community platform - Tencent Things Network. TencentOS tiny is a lightweight real-time operating system for IoT developed by Tencent. The RHF5K800 smart building suite, based on Tencent Cloud and WeChat mini-programs, is a highlight of IoT applications showcased by RisingHF at this conference. The suite not only achieves seamless docking with Tencent Cloud, but RisingHF has also developed applications based on WeChat mini-programs, allowing end-users to view their home status in real-time without installing an APP, simply by scanning a QR code. This includes whether doors and windows are illegally opened, whether there is an illegal intrusion in the house, as well as indoor temperature, humidity, and air quality, etc. Truly plug-and-play and convenient from terminal hardware to application software. The suite includes a WiFi router integrated with LoRaWAN gateway functions, a door magnetic switch, an infrared probe, and a home health sensor.

At the same time, to facilitate developers within Tencent's ecosystem to learn and study low-power wide-area network technology, RisingHF has also launched the LoRaWAN development kit RHF5K001 for the IoT developer forum. This development kit includes a LoRaWAN 8-channel gateway based on the Linux open-source platform, a USB interface LoRaWAN node, and a LoRaWAN module EVK integrated with the global protocol stack (supporting Class A, Class B, and Class C) and supporting AT commands. The gateway in this kit supports connection to Tencent Cloud platform and RisingHF's IoTSquare platform, and also supports connection to other third-party or open-source servers through packet forwarder, which is very suitable for developers to conduct protocol and application research on LoRaWAN. In addition, the LoRaWAN module carried on the EVK included in this kit is the only module on the market that supports the complete global LoRaWAN protocol stack, including CN470, LinkWAN, EU433, EU868, AS923, US915, AU915, IN865, etc. At the same time, the commercial Class B mode with clock synchronization and the Class C mode supporting broadcast protocol are also important features that distinguish this module from other manufacturers' modules on the market.
